Jenn Tran is a Vietnamese, Australian-born experimental animator and artist based in Melbourne, Wurundjeri country. She explores the symbiotic relationship between material, form, and frame, foregrounding experimental animation as both method and vessel. Her cinematic practice encompasses the complex layering of stop motion using 16mm, pencil to paper, clay and textile. Her work has been presented at the Sydney Film Festival, SEVENTH Gallery, and Pari Ari, and she has participated in artist residencies at the Centre for Projection Art and Air Huế.
